Join us for this 6-week intensive course on the foundations of play therapy knowledge, skills, and practice.
This course is designed for therapists who desire to learn about the historical roots of play therapy and the importance of play in child development. Participants will learn how to facilitate the play therapy relationship, set up the toys and playroom, and basic play therapy skills. Various play therapy theories and techniques for assessment and intervention will be surveyed, with the intent of participants beginning to develop a personal style for providing play therapy.
